Frank Morrow Company Cuff

Your cuff is made from thick copper and is 19mm wide and approximately 150mm/178mm long, with about a 30mm opening.

Wide copper cuffs are embellished with beautiful organic impressions from vintage dies by the Frank Morrow Company and Cranston Wire Company.  Perfect gift for nature lovers! The pieces of art have been treated with various colouring agents to bring out the depth of the design. The copper has been sealed with Renaissance Wax to resist tarnish.

These unique cuffs are a mixture from a bygone era, the Cranston Wire Company in Rhode Island and the Frank Morrow company made these dies almost a hundred years ago. Here’s a neat piece of history from the 1930’s, in the 1930’s in Rhode Island there were so many jewellery manufacturers densely packed in the small state that many die makers and designers would trade, steal, or get inspiration from each other’s ideas resulting in similar designs and pieces appearing between companies!

Many of the pattern plates have been saved by a small family company and made available for use by artisans to bring back to life.
